Walking in Circles

Today has by far been my most busiest day in HK. Fu and I had planned the night before to line up at Seibu Kowloon Hotel before 10am this morning because they were giving away free Dior cosmetics to the first 100 customers. FREE STUFF! Of course WI'm all for it. We left the Y at 9am with Lily, Michelle and Monica, but we couldn't decide what to eat for breakfast. Fu and I had our first taste of HK street food: oily fried noodles in a plastic bag. It was cheap and it was good. Anything tastes good when it comes out of a plastic bag right? We left for Seibu only to walk in the complete opposite direction, and by the time we got to the line we were the 105th person there. Aww shucks. So we left and headed for Harbour City (the mall near the Y). With our lack of direction we must have circled the same section 3-4 times looking for a shop that in the end wasn't even located in the mall at all. No Joke, we saw the same stores over and over again. It was to the point where frustration had become non-existent and insane laughter had taken over. Laughing at ourselves of course. I also found some great "Engrish" all over the place (I will post pictures of them later!) After a few hours we decided that we were in dire need for the internet so we went to Mcdonald's and stole their free wireless. We then met up with Shahina at Mongkok Station to go visit all the cheap street shops. My feet are killing me. Fu eventually headed back to the Y and I stayed behind with Shahina and her friends to go sing karaoke. Been out for a full 15 hours today. I don't think I've ever stayed out that long before in my life! It was tiring but it was fun. Pictures shall be uploaded tomorrow.
